hey there ipod users, only been messing around with ipod for a little while, so i figure someone else knows alot more than them than me!

    heres the backstory...

i had an ipod touch 1st gen with a broken digitizer, so i ordered a new digitizer however when opening the case and disasembling the unit. i have managed to break the ribbon cable that goes to the headphone jack to the main board.
(i also broke a transistor but my girlfriend is a surface mount technician so that worked out ok

so i figure i basically have 3 options.

    1. buy a broken touch for the mainboard/audio connecter and use it with current touch
    2. attach a bluetooth adapter to the data port and use with bluetooth headphones.
    3. if anyone knows of some device that turns the data port into a normal headphone jack or something along those lines?

basically i would prefer option 3 because that seems the cheapest, but im not sure it exists. otherwise its a toss up between 1+2 which are both reasonbly pricey. unless you guy have any other great ideas id love to know!

    thanks for your guys time!
