need some help trying to boot my ipod touch

    i had my friend jailbreak my ipod, so i really have no idea what anything it is people talk about on here (AKA noob). anyway, he said not to let the ipod run out of batteries, and surely it did. how do i get it back running, something about libusb? thanks

    Umm well
    1. You need to get a USB plug for your iPod.
    2. That now means you need to jailbreak your iPod again. (If you want to.)

    i decided, screw it, this jailbreaking stuff is over my non-hacking brain. so i put it in recovery mode and tried to restore it, but it said "Software for this ipod is currently unavaliable. Make sure you have the latest version of itunes and try again." I do have the latest version. FLM

    need help please

    okay so i downloaded winterboard and it didnt work with any of the themes but i didnt reboot after i downloaded cause i thought that re-jailbreaking your ipod lost all apps you got from cydia, am i wrong?

    Follow this guide, but DON'T download the 1.1.4 firmware. Download 2.2.1 firmware from Google.

    Yes, please do not post your questions in a thread that is not yours. To answer your question, yes you would lose all of your jailbroken apps.

    Take the USB cabel, take the larger end and plug it into the computer take the opposite end of the cabel and plug it into the the ipod and it will boot up.
