its literally impossible to "f*** up" your touch. you cant brick it, and if something goes wrong, you just restore it and its like brand new again. i say go for the jailbreak. you'll be much happier

i havent jailbroken mine yet and might never, i like it just the way it is

the last update opened up a bunch of new things so maybee they will release more

i woulkd say do some research on jailbreaking and once you get bored with it then

    jailbreak it

Well the only way you can "f*** up" your touch is if you install an app with a virus.

considering there is no app with a virus, thats not realistic, and even if there was an app that deleted something, all you'd have to do is restore and it would be fine again

I see what you're saying but anything could happen with third party apps. Say an application removed the ability to force restore?

That's not possible - the force restore functionality is hard coded. That's why it's so flexible and why the jailbreak is 99% certain to not cause any problems...
