    Hey guys,

    UPDATED FOR LAPTOP

I am trying to get osx on my laptop

    but with no luck,
is there any osx out there that will work on my system?

The problem that occurs is as soon as the white apple logo is gone and gets to the blue screen with the spinning wheel, and then I touch ANYTHING on my laptop the installation hangs, If I touch not anything it loads the installation where it says click to continue (but I can't since it hangs on any input)

When I boot in verbose mode (-v) it sees the driver (synaptics touchpad)

    What is wrong?

I tried it with iAtkos V7 and I deneb (iDeneb_v1.5.1_OSX86_v10.5.7)

    Specs from my laptop:

    It is a Microstar MD6103

    Mainboard:
    Manufacturer: Medion
    Model: M295M
    Chipset: SiS 645DX
    Southbridge: SiS LPC Bridge

    Bios:
    Brand: Medion
    Version: Note BIOS Version/L2850100
    Date: 11/15/2002

    CPU:
    Intel Pentium 4 @ 2,54 GHz

    Graphic adapter:
Nvidia Geforce4 Go! < works fine

If you need anymore specs please tell me!

    Thank you

PS: ANY help is welcome, and osx version does not matter

nope, but mine was a old one and urs seems to be somewat a hi end one. give it a try, success relies on the extras or patches you install accord to ur pc spec.

kext files seems to be like inf files used for drivers in windows. need to do some tweaking in it for some of the devices in a pc to work.

first, try to install, then we can troubleshoot according to the error messages or results.

    all the best!!!

Ohhhh..I may be wrong, but I believe this is the problem in your case. Try to google out or downgrade/upgrade the BIOS.

Anyways, after install we will see what's exactly is going wrong.
