Is there a way to ssh Music and videos to my ipod????
Not right now. iPods use a really wierd file system. Until that is figured out, we won' t be able to sync except trho ugh iTunes.
Yep. All iPods have had a kind of proprietary file system and method of transfer that precludes just dropping files into the iPod and playing them. When iTunes copies files to the iPod, it renames them and puts them in a folder based on some system I don't know. It then keeps a main database of all music on the iPod containing a lookup table to link a specific song in the database to a specific file on the iPod, along with its associated album art, ratings, playlists, etc. If you just dropped an MP3 in there it wouldn't recognize it because it isn't renamed, in a specific folder, and has no link in the main database.
There is a program for 1-5.5G iPods and 1-3G Nanos (and presumably the Classic) called Floola that acts as a portable version of iTunes and allows you to copy music back and forth from any computer, but it doesn't work on the Touch for a number of reasons.
Separate names with a comma.
