    Okay,

I was asked at school by a student teacher (Ya, don't know how she knows I can jailbreak!) to jailbreak her iPod 2G MB model running 3.1.3. Well I took it home and used Spirit, everything was fine until I downloaded Iconoclasm. Cydia asked to Reboot so I did, it turned off, then started to turn on, but it just keep loading and l0ading when finally, it flashed white then turned off. I tried again to turn it on but it just keep loading and NEVER stopped. It was loading forever (About 1 hour and 20 mins) when I just held down home and sleep and it turned off. I tired again but this time it needs to charge. I'm not sure if I should charge it or not. He said that he hasn't synced with iTunes for a year and has like 20 pages of apps! I don't know what to do.

    Thanks!

take a big stick, hit your legs a few times with it, nice and hard for brusing, then run over the ipod and say you got hit by a car and that you are so sorry. haha, jk, i dont know man, sucks though

Isnt transfer purchases on itunes the one that transfers apps without being connected to iDevice?
    If so:
Transfer purchases, apps on there now
    Get out of bootloop
    If not (Havnt tried this):
    Get into DFU mode
Hold power and home to get out
You will either boot, or get into recovery mode
Then, use something to kick you out of recovery mode

Tell him that the jailbreak didnt work and that you had to restore, nothing you can really do. You could try jailbreaking with GreenPois0n is it works on that firmware, maybe it will fix it up, bootrom level jailbreak, allows unsigned code. Which might be causing the rebooting. Limera1n actually might be better, Geohot slapped it together and didn't restrict firmwares. Nothing else you can do so it cant hurt to try.
