Do a hard reboot [Wake/Sleep + Home button] It will restore your iPod, but its what u need 2 do.

    Alright mate do the following:

on/off button + home button = hold both for 20 sec

keep holding and u'll see that the ipod will reboot and u'll see the apple logo then release the on/off button but keep pressing the home button for another 5 secs.....this will completely restore ur ipod like wen u bought it and u'll see the connect cable on the screen.

Hope this solves ur problem, however. U'll have to jailbreak ur ipod again
