    iPod touch
I manage a local repair shop in my hometown. I had a coworker steal an 8G Ipod touch from a customers car. We recovered the ipod tocuh and put his ass in jail...however he put a lock code on the touch. He is denying the fact that he stole it (even though he was found in possession and the serial numbers matched) so he wont give us the code. Is there anyway I can getr this unlocked so my customer can continue to enjoy his Touch? He no longer has the first computer it was synced to...and i dont know if hooking his ipod to my account will allow me to restore the code or not. Please help...needto get my customer happy and allow him to see I am willing to hlp gim out l Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you have iTunes, Plug the iPod into the computer, then put it into DFU Mode then restore it. Guide Here - Link.

If the guide doesn't help you, I'll give you more in-detail instructions for how-to. Just let me know how it goes.

    DFU should work.

Yeah, use the link posted above. Don't get discouraged if it takes a few tries, it almost always does.

This seems kind of suspicious though. Why would the guy get thrown in jail?

    For Stealing?
    We should just trust him.
What do we have in this world if we don't have trust?

Yeah, I find it a bit fishy. Especially this:
Why would you tell a co worker to steal an iPod Touch? Also, would the customer be so stupid as to leave an iPod in his car?

By "I had" he doesn't me "I told". In this context it means "I was there when".
