need help with passcode!

    Hey, My little brother was borwsing thru my ipod.. and the kid some how changed my passcode on my ipod touch 8 gig..

    and now i do not know the code..considering my brother is just 2 years old and cannot speak yet lol.

    also, it says "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes"

    when i connect it to itunes, it says that i must put my passcode in to get my ipod connected to itunes..
    but then again on my ipod it says "iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes"
    i have no idea at all in what to do..
    somebody PLEASE help me !!!!

    you might have to force it into restore mode

    The only way it's going to work is on the computer with the Library it is synced too. If it's stolen you are out of luck and won't even be able to restore it.

    so if its stolen there is now way to get through the passcode?

    Force it into restore mode by turning off your iPod, holding down the home button, and connecting your iPod to the computer while holding down the home button. Keep holding the home button until you see the connect to iTunes sign.

    okay, so i see the connect to itunes sign, put my plug is already in, like u said, hold down the home button while conncting the cord into the ipod
    rite
    or do i wait lol

    Now you click restore in iTunes and restore.

    thats why you always put passcode on your ipod
    not to protect it, but it protect it from other ppl setting a passcode
    =D
