I stupidly upgraded my iPhone to 2.0 without understanding that it can not be unlocked. I originally used zIphone to unlock and jailbreak my phone and I know that it downgraded my bootloader to 3.9.

I iinstalled iTuned 7.5 and have tried to restore my iPhone to 1.1.4. I get an error 1015 and the iPhone fails to restore. HOwever, I can use iLiberty to kick it out of restore and then proceed to use iLiberty to jailbreak.

However, I have no service after jailbreaking and unlocking.

Does anyone know a method I can try to get my service back?

I've tried that and the flash failed. Still no service.

how about putting it into DFU mode then restoring to 1.1.4 again and re-unlocking it

I've tried this to. I get the phone into DFU mode and then attempt to restore to 1.1.4. The restore fails with error 1510. However I am able to use iLiberty to kick it out of restore mode and then I am taken to the emergency call screen. The screen with the slie to unlock but will only allow an emergency call. So...I tried to use iLiberty to jailbreak and unlock, which gets me past the emergency screen but no installer and no unlock. I used ZiPhone and this at leasts jailbreaks 1.1.4 but still no unlock, or at least no service.

I think there is a problem with the baseband being the incorrect number for a 1.1.4 restore. I even tried erasing my baseband hoping that a restore to 1.1.4 would install the correct number. Still no service.

    I am out of options.....

throw it on the ground and jump on it.

nahz, maybe try to restore it to like 1.1.3 or something and then go up to 1.1.4?

    I'll try this.

I tried contacting ipodtouchmaster but the guy never responds.

    UPDATE:
OK, thank you a million times for recommending this. This tool at least was able to downgrade my baseband (after having been upgraded by the 2.0 upgrade) and I was able to do a complete 1.1.4 restore without error. However, I am still having the no signal problem.
