Hi everyone, I hope this is the right section.
I have a jailbroken Ipod Touch 1g. It's now 1 1/2 years old and there is no guarantee left.

Since 2 days my homebutton isn't working anymore. It's pretty loose and there is no resistance when I press it.
It seemes to be a hardware problem.

First question: Does anyone know a way to fix this?
Second question: If there is no way to fix it, is there a way to use the homebutton's functions another way? An idea was that if I press the upper button the current program shuts down so when i slice to open it's closed.

    Any ideas?

no I don't think so. I checked the german website and they say they do only repair if there is a warranty.
So I have the choice between opening my ipod and check if there is any dust behind the homebutton and pay a whole bunch of money for a reparation.

Did anyone have the same problem?
