I am planning on upgrading my ipod touch 2gen and I need to find a list of installed packages, so when I update I can redownload them. Does anyone have a link to a list of sorts of packages in ssh

    open Cydia

    click manage>packages

write down everything with a checkmark next to it (basically everything) OR

i've heard of an app call Aptbackup or something like that but never used it

On second thought, screenshot-ing the scrolling list of packages may be easiest

I am also still on 3.0 and I'm gunna stick with it unless something dramatically new happens. Not worth dealing with a restore again to me
