    Hi guys !
Im willing to work hard on a big project for the ipodtouch/iphone.
I want to make visualisations like the ones in itunes for Ipod touch but i got no idea on how to make it... Im reading and i will keep reading tutorials on app making.

    Any help would be appreciated.

So how do i want to make it look like?
Keeping all like it is but replacing album art by the visualisations.
im gonna post a pic of how it should look

Im repeating that all help will be apreciated !!

    Thanks,
    Sk8erjonath

Is this gonna be a seperate app or a add-on/Rebuild of Music.app?
also I think it would look great just as you said, over the album art. Maybe if you taped the album art it flips to the visualization and vise versa.

dont make it too hard on yourself for first release. start out with like simple 3-5 bars or even just screen colors change with the beat of the music...
then you can get more complex eventually..
and making it, i have no idea how you would code that....
how would you get the ipod to recognize the sound if its only putting it out of the headphone jack.. im no coder or anything but i understand html and some coding..
not anything for ipot but basics lol

You have no idea how to code...and you want to make a visualization app...for the iphone. I suggest you start out small. a lot smaller. I have been reading a lot for the past 3 weeks and it takes me around 2-3 hours just to get a window to move to the next.

On-topic: I think AVAudioPlayer has methods that let you access the spectrum of the sound you're currently playing (you know, the 'bars')
