    Hi guys!!
I go tmy 3gs the other day..i got lucky and it had the old bootrom and baseband also running 3.1.2

I jailbroke it and unlocked it.

Just today, it suddenly turned off and i went to use blakrain to boot it up but it never did.

iv been trying everything since 3pm (its 8 now)

What can i do so i wont loose my baseband.

If i restore to 3.1.3 will it upgrade my baseband?

if you have SHSH stored on 3.1.2 you can use to restore instead of using apple servers. btw haveyou tried redsn0w?

I have tried redsnow and it wouldnt boot up.

Just a minute ago i tried redsnow on a 3.1.2 Ipsw and it poped up on my screen, saying uploading jailbrak data and what not....then it said its done and once the meter filled up, the screen went black and now i cant turn on my iphone what so ever...itunes pickes it up as restore mode.

and how cna i use the SHSH?
    Its soooo confusing.

Try DFU and then restoring to the 3.1.2 file you already have.

if the screen is black and itunes is picking it up as restore mode then he is already in DFU mode.
