I have a 32GB 3rd Gen iPod Touch and I want to restore it. Since there's a new firmware out (3.1.3) that is un-jailbreak-able, I downloaded the 3.1.2 iPod Touch firmware (7D11) from [removed] site.

I held the shift key and clicked restore, chose the .ipsw file, and iTunes got as far as the validation part and then said my iPod was not eligible for the build. I've also tried restoring in DFU mode but it still doesn't work.

The main reason I wanted to restore it is because I've either forgotten the password I used for AppLocket or I've mistyped it on the input. Either way, I can't get access to anything. So my only solutions are restore or brute force.

    Can anyone help me?
