So i had a jailbroken iPhone 4.. i went over my friends house and connected my phone to his imac to charge it and the stupid computer started syncing it.. it deleted all my music

Once i get home i try to restore it and i keep getting a error telling me it cant restore the iPhone (Unknown Error Occured 3194). I put it on DFU Mode and still nothing.

Am i supposed to restore a special way since it was jailbroken or can i restore it with the original apple firmware?

Download the firmware off the internet and then restore it with that

Windows: Hold Down I think ALT and then click restore.

Mac: Hold Down Option and then click restore.

    Hope I helped

Are you trying to restore back to 4.0? If so, you can't. You have to update to 4.0.2 unless you have SHSH blobs backed up. If you do you can use TinyUmbrella's TSS Server to trick iTunes into allowing you to restoring back to 4.0.

    Windows is shift click.

Also, do you have your SHSH for 4.0 or 4.0.1 backed up? If you don't, then you have to update to 4.0.2. However, couldn't you have just synced it to your own computer when you got back home?
