I don't know what happened to my iPod but it froze. So i manually turned it off, Then i tried turning it on but it wouldn't work. So then i tried doing the DFU restore. Once that happened it worked but the brightness wouldn't go up anymore, and it would randomly reboot itself.
    And yes it was jailbroken
Any help or do you neeed more info??

edit: i just rejailbroke it with redsn0w and now it won't let me open any application.

DFU restore to a clean firmware and don't use a backup

^Which means Apple won't cover it.. So you'll have to find a 3rd party which will fix the problem for you

Doesn't really matter anymore, it started working properly again and the screen stopped shimmering.
edit: it doesn't go into DFU mode anymore
