I didn't realize you only had a 300 MB partition so I was scractching my head when perl and stuff wouldn't isntall when my drive was full. So I tried to reinstall installer and it failed too because of the low disk space and now I can't get into it!

I'm on firmware 1.1.2. Is there anyway I can remove apps and add installer back? I have the command prompt installed and SSH and all those goodies and I know how to use them and such. Any ideas?

    Summery:

    app partion - 300/300MB
Installer "broken", needs to be (re)installed
Have terminal + lots of unix utilities installed
Need to uninstall programs without installer

    thanks!

The first thing would be obviously to move the Applications to the other partition, I suppose you already did that since then. If not, there is a guide in the sticky threads that shows how to do it with SSH.

You can find the installer here: http://repository.apptapp.com/packages/System/Installer.zip (the official repository). All you have to do is unzip that in the /Applications directory and make sure the permissions are right (binary with execute).

If you move the /Applications directory to the other partition, you don't need to.
