The only 100% positive way to get a full screen perfect image of your movie, is to buy it through itunes. You get a fantastic result though. any other source only has around a 70% chance of getting the image you want. still a good chance though

I openly admit that i ******* numerous movies, but only for the sole purpose of rating it and seeing if i should buy the HD version through itunes. Examples of movies i have bought through this method: The Hurt Locker, Pursuit of Happiness, Reign Over Me, Goodfellas, and Inglorious Bastards ( i despise people who say this movie is boring. )

(And yes my ipod touch can fit all these and my music/Apps. Feels good to finally upgrade from 8GIG to 32GIG)

Dunno what kind of video converter you use, but I never had any problems with movies converted with ffmpeg.

    handbrake...

not every movie will match the ipod's screen ratio...if u wish to strech the movie(give up the original ratio) then u can do it with handbrake...

however i suggest not to..it looks ugly...

when the converted movie shows with the black bars then u can enlarge the picture on the ipod..

    hope it helps
