I have a movie and I converted it to mp4 with Total Video Converter Pro.

I loaded it into iTunes, it plays correctly!

Now when I go to sync it with my iPod, I get the error:

"This movie cannot be played on the ipod becasue it's in the wrong format"???

Anyone else have this error as well, I have tried converting the movie to another format, then converting it over to the mp4 to see if that makes any difference, but to no luck.

Any help would be appreicated. Please

Just because it's mp4 doesn't make it compatible. You need to make sure it fits the requirements for the iPod/iPhone. Most good conversion programs will have resets for it.

I tried it, but, I would always loose my internet connection about the middle of the conversion and well had to start over. ( I am on a wireless connection for the info), so I decided not to use that one anymore.

    Anymore?
I have even tried CloneDVD, 321 Studios DVD Copy(which is now banned and no longer sold, but I bought my copy before that happend), Ripping through Win Media Player, Adobe Premier, Expression Media/Encoder, TVC, Ulead Movie Studio, I think that's it, and for some reason the same error happens.

I am willing to try anything to get this to work (well at least not illegally).

I purchased Xilisoft 3GP Converter when I had my LG Chocolate. It can also convert movies for you in MPEG-4 Video. i think it was like 20 bucks, and it really works. the trial version only converts up to 2 minutes of the file.
