    I am using an iPod touch firmware version 1.1.4. I downloaded gpSPhone using installer.app. I am using CuteFTP to put ROMs in the appropriate folder (/private/var/root/Media/ROMs/GBA), but when i try to change the permissions for the ROMs (currently set to 644) it gives me an error saying: The command was not understood by the server. In addition when I open up gpSPhone it says that no GBA ROMs were found. HELP!!!

    the ROMs goes to /var/mobile/root/Media/ROMs/GBA

    as to why your CuteFTP is not working, i dont know
    im guess you've successfully logged in, so maybe its CuteFTP's problem
    try entering 0755 instead of 755

    or you can use Term-VT100, you can change the permissions on your iPod, without SSH-ing
    just download Term-VT100 from installers (in system), download SUID Lib Fix (in tweaks 1.1.3) and BSD Term Fix (in tweaks)
    open Term-Vt100, it asks for the password, which is alpine
    type this to change the permissions:
    </bin/chmod -R 755 /var/mobile/root/Media/ROMs/GBA/>
    capitals and spaces are necessary

    you could also try winscp, but maybe you didnt download GBA games, maybe you got DS games by accident and they said gba or somthing similar... i did this once and i was like.... awh i spent all that time... so you may want to try that..

    add this source http://zodttd.com/repo/

    then scroll through the installer until you find gpsphone 1.5.0

    install that version and it will say that there is an update

    DO NOT UPDATE IT

    then just use winscp to put the roms in /var/mobile/root/Media/ROMs/GBA

    then thats it

    thats what i did
