ok so every time i shut off my ipod or watever my ipod decides that it doesn't like me so if i try to use an application it wont work meaning that i cant touch it. the application doesn't scroll or anything its as if the touch screen broke but it didnt because i can slide to unlock and navigate around the springboard but i cant touch the apps this is a prob also when i try to make it sleep the screen doesnt fully shut off it just fades and shows my lockbackground and my slider

now before the way that i fixed this was simple restart 20 times until it decided to work but now it has just become extremely annoying and time consuming. does any one have a fix for this

PS i was thinking about searching but what could i have searched for

when every it happens run reboot (here it is). Or go into and installer and install the app restart.

i had similar problem but finally my screen crapped out and went completley white i ended up doing a complete resore didnt fix it so brought it to apple (completley stock) it was still under warranty which yours probably still is, then they just gave me a new one. If your going to get a new one try a restore first if its not fixed i would get it replaced by apple.

    this happened to me before
it was cause I used Caterpillar and dock together
I couldn't fix it so I just put it in Recovery Mode and restored it
