k well ive been windows free for about 2 weeks and i freakin love ubuntu. one thing has gotten to me though, and thats program incompatibility. there are a couple of programs i really want, but the one i want most is the iPhone SDK. i gave up on trying all of those tuts and stuff, and im just going to hackintosh... i have a couple of ?'s

also, im running ubuntu 8.10 and i dont want to get rid of it. its my only partition (i think... forgot what did during setup) and im using GRUB as my bootloader.

    1. What is the easiest program to repartition??
    2. Can i repartition without formatting my ubuntu partition (using program mentioned in 1)?
    3. How would i get to 10.5.6? i want to use kalyway 10.5.2 (please be detailed)
    4. Is there an installer that is already 10.5.6 (so i wouldnt have to update?)
    5. How would i boot into it (would GRUB allow me to?)

thanks. will post more questions as they some. tell me all you know, and dont just give me vague links plz (like google, www.osx86project.org, etc.)

Sorry to say google, but i know if you search kalyway updater, or update method you will find something. I found it once but cant seem to remember the link or where i saved the link. If i do find it i will let you know.

Hmmm. Ok try this in ubuntu (8.04 or.10 I presume?):
    Code:
    sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
Then add this where the other things that look like this are EDIT! Needs to be after ubuntu entry:
    Code:
    title Mac OSX
    root (hd0,1)
    savedefault
    makeactive
    chainloader +1
If it doesn't work, we can try something else.

Ok, I got a few hackintoshing questions...
    1. If I was to get a dell mini9, what distro would I want?
    2. Are these "distros" the full leopard? Like could I do anything I could do with a Mac?
    3. Would the distro boot with grub?
