Is there anyone out there that will compile a program for CISCO vpn that will allow user authentication? I need this for my work and i have contacted the ITS services and i got to talk to a mac tech and he said that he is working on compiling an RPM package file for the iphone but he said it wont be done for awhile. Or if there is one please post it. Or just it you have general input please post.

    Thanks

Well I have my ipod jailbroken. I have the iphone apps installed. I have a VPN setting now that wasnt there when it was stock. Under settings-general-network.

Hope that helps alittle. Im quite sure the iphone has VPN. I'm not sure if it works when its on the ipod touch though.

you need to install the iphone aps, like mail, stocks, weather, etc

Then you will have the network menu... but I have no idea if it's functional

I have jailbroken my phone and its 1.1.1. I also get the network option under general settings. About half way down the screen.

its not a cisco vpn client though. Has support for PPTP and L2TP

I imagine when the official SDK is out, cisco themselves might develop one.
