I don't know if there is such a docking station out, but if there's I'm buying it. I need it to rotate so I can enter cover flow and browse it with the remote. I wanna hook it up to my receiver, not my PC. I just saw that PED3 ad on this site, but it connects to the comptuer and it doesn't have a remote

How about the Flextune? It doesn't rotate but it does work in portrait and landscape mode.

thanks for your response. I'll have to read about it even thought I'd prefer one without speakers as I'll be using the speakers connected to my receiver. does this one come with a remote though?

This isn't quite what you want since there is no remote but you can get line level audio out of the pocketdock to connect to your receiver.

The sendstation pocketdock and pocketdock AV are nice and small and they give you line level audio and even video through the dock connector. The newer AV pocketdock has an extended dock plug so it can be used while your ipod is in a case. The original pocketdocks don't quite have the reach to be used while the ipod is in a case.

i don't see why it wouldn't work. I thought the ipod touch sends its video signals through the docking port?

I havc the pocket docket and it doesn't work with the 2nd gen itouch.
I bought the 2nd gen couple of days ago to use for my backing tracks as i am a singer in the pubs and clubs and it won't work so I now have to continue to use my ipod classic. Pisses me off and it won't charge with any of my chargers.
