That's definitely saying something. Kobe was responsible for that loss at the end of the game. He didn't have a great game. ------------------double post merged------------------ LeBron shared the ball more this year. In fact, the Cavs probably lost game one in the Conference Finals because he did. He gave Delonte West a wide-open 3 for the last shot of the game and he missed. His supporting cast took a huge dump in the Conference Finals. Mo Williams showed up once in 6 games. Howard totally made Big Z look old and slow. Delonte West is not a SG. Joe Smith is only good against teams like Detroit and Atlanta. Ben Wallace is old and he sucks. The Cavs won 66 games because some of the guys I just mentioned either played like they were supposed to because of less pressure and less formidable opposition or played over their heads. But in the playoffs against a good team like Orlando, all of that changes. LeBron didn't have the best series, but without him, they don't even win a single game.
Lakers are probably losing 2 games at Orlando just so they can clinch the title at home in LA. Jk, Lakers will probably come back. Edit: Wow this actually turned into a good game. Tied with 5:30 left. Kobe Time.
Lol, but you got to give the man his props. He's old, but he's no stranger to the Finals and he has hit big shots before. And did anyone see that hard foul on Pao Gasol in the last couple seconds by Peitrus. That was pretty dirty. EDIT: Found a vid. Watch. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4253050
You are right, his teammates sucked in the playoffs because they relied on lebron too much. They underestimated the Magic. Mo even said he guaranteed a win against them... I like the magic. They are a balanced out team, with each player doing what they are assigned. The lakers and the cavs just give it to kobe and lebron in the last 5 minutes of the game.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Was it over when the Red Sox came back from a 3-0 deficit in the 2004 ALCS? Was it over when the Red Sox came back from a 3-1 deficit in the 2007 ALCS? Was it over when Glen Fatass Davis owned the Magic for the Celtics to go up 3-2 in this year's conference semi-finals? Was it over when the Cubs were 5 outs away from the World Series in 2003 and choked? (yes, in this case, it was) You get my point.
