OK, once we get past the fact that the ipod touch might not even be able to emulate N64, or if it does it'll go at like 50-70 %, a lot of people complain about how the controls won't work. This is just a crappy quick photoshop, but I think this is what it would be something like. ~Just an idea/concept. Not supposed to actually look good~

With the control stick, the grey part is the actual thing. You move it around, but it only stays within a certain radius and always pops back to the same spot when you let go.

I would love to see a version of an N64 emulator, even if it does suck. I would also love to see a DS emulator too lol. Im sure Phoenix wright would work just fine!

PS, The real controls would be more transparent. Just wanted them to be easily visible here.

I still think that its not even worth trying to get a emulator to work on the touch...

If it doesnt run fast on the PSP, it run nearly as fast on the iPod Touch...

It would run nearly as fast? Cool!

Lol, I think u mean it wouldn't run nearly as fast... or something like that. I'm going to test the PSP N64 emulator as soon as I get the chance *aka tomorrow when I get a new battery*.

I personally think it's worth trying, and like I loved the N64 back when my brother got one for his birthday. I would play Smash Bros even if it was running at a third of the actual speed

I love it on my PSP (and would hate it on my non-existent iPod.) It's just for games like Super Smash Bros., you NEED the tactile feedback. Dunno, as long as I have it on my PSP, I'm satisfied.

Your grandma would love playing it on the touch! It would be just slow enough for her to understand whats going on

That, I have to admit is probably the best idea for a landscape N64 controller yet. And yes, N64 would be very playable on touch (not meaning this speedwise).
