Has anyone gotten MyWi to work on the ipod touch 4G yet? Every time i try to install it, it goes into safe mode :\

Im guessing this is probably because it doesnt support the ipt4 yet

It supports the iPod Touch (at least the 2G, from what I see in OP's post). It just doesn't support tethering. It's good for creating a hotspot for LAN purposes.

You would need two WiFi antennas if you wanted to use it. One to get WiFi from your source, the other to create a hotspot. iPod only has one. iPhones have a HSPDA antenna (Capable of getting 3G signals) and a WiFi antenna. That's why it works with an iPhone.

Just a question here, can you use MyWi for like usb Tethering to your computer.

For example, you have wifi in your house, but you have an old computer without a WiFi card, and you don't want to move your computer to connect directly to the router, you can use Your iPod Touch's WiFi on your computer, if you get what I'm saying,

I know you can do this with PDAnet.

It is possible. But the developers of PDAnet would have to add support for the iPod Touch in to do that.

PDAnet already made it for the iPod Touch, maybe the OP wants to usb tether with MyWi, so he's trying to get it to work?
