I have an odd problem that is driving me crazy. The attached screen keeps popping up at random times kicking me out of whatever I was doing. Have restored several times and erased everything yet it still happens.

    ANyone else seen this?

This is a "feature", when you double click the home screen, it shows you that.

I don't think he's jailbroken. No Cydia, Installer, anything.

I'm gonna guess it could be a problem with the physical button...

Not modded in any way and no third party apps installed. Plus I have restored several times.

My first gen started doing that about a week before the button failed completely. (A week out of warranty, no less) Have it checked at an Apple store.

The button might be stuck down so at random times the iPod registers the clicks and open. Take it to Apple store they'll fix you right up!
