mysql help

    I have a website right now, and i wanted to install a lyrics database on it with mysql.i have the database uploaded using a ftp program on a sub domain. and phpmyadmin wont work because the DB is like 300 mb.
    i got ssh permission from my hosting company, and i got PuTTY for sshing, and i logged in. i used the command:
    mysql -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD DBNAME < DBFILE.sql
    and nothing happens. can anyone help me out?does anyone even know what I'm talking about? thanks in advance!

    The command should look like this:
    mysql -u USERNAME -p -D DATABASENAME < DBFILE.sql

    Itt will ask for your password.
