Why would you activate an already activated phone?
Yes, you get your iPhone up and running, as if you weren't going to jailbreak it at all (and that includes normal activation), then you exit iTunes etc. and run the ZIPHone program, choosing only the Jailbreak option.
The activate option in the ZIPhone program is for people who don't want to use an AT&T contract sim, and who haven't activated their iPhone using any other means.
Also choose Verbose mode. Just in case.
thanks for all the help
This is a general message , not just for this thread ..
People, we're in a iPod Touch forum ...
ZiPhone is everywhere here now , and everybody's confused. It really sux.
ZiPhone doesn't works for most part of iPod Touch users, and we're waiting for solutions. But it's fine with iPhone. If you want to talk more about iPhone, go away. Really, people are confused now.
Why wouldn't ZiPhone work for iPod touch?
All it does is load and execute custom functions using /usr/bin/nvram..
I have a Video Tutorial in my Sig.
I've given up on ZiPone. Back to 1.1.3 and starting the whole process over. 1.1.1 will be good enough for me until someone comes up with a better solution.
Just noticed that it says "marvell-retry-limit: 15".
You said it works after 15 tries right?
wow ziphone really rocks men. save alot of times!! woohoo. awesome
