I posted this in another thread, but I thought I'd put it here so people could get to this faster.

15th Time is the charm! lol

Here is my specs and what I did:

Specs: 16 GB iPod + Windows Vista Ultimate + iTunes 7.6

    Method used: ZiPhone 1.1 http://[PIRACY.rs].com/files/91327136/ZiPhone.zip.html

    Guide:

    1. For safety reasons, Kill all iTunes processes. Thats what I had.
    2. Restore to 1.1.3.
    3. After restore, exit iTunes and unplug your device. Wait till it shows the Restore screen again on the iPod.
    4. Run iTunes again.
    5. Plug in your Device.
    6. DO NOT ENTER A NAME OR ANYTHING.
    7. Press the Eject button. KEEP THE iPOD PLUGGED IN.
    8. Exit iTunes.
    9. Start ZiPhone's GUI
    10. Select Jailbreak and Verbose mode.
    11. Click Start. (NO NEED TO GO INTO RESTORE MODE. It does it for you.
    12. Keep it plugged in until it finished, restarts, and goes to your Home Screen.

    Voila, Jailbroken 1.1.3. I even have Installer.app.

    Hope this helps.

    Happy Hacking.

    Right People

CONFIRMED - Follow Consume1's guide - it works.

I now have it jailbroken with installer. 16Gb Ipot and Windows XP aswel incase people were wondering.

A few things: I tried different methods and ended up restoring about 8-9 times. The last thing i tried differently was terminating the itunes and apple processes because Itunes kept popping up during the process of jailbreaking so MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS.

Secondly, on clicking 'Free my Iphone' it didnt seem to work - just kind of looped/cycled through so i re-put my ipot into restore mode while it was in restore mode if you understand (after clicking stop) clicked 'Free my Iphone' again and then it worked fine.

First 8 or so times I tried this, I had Itunes 7.5, last time I tried I had upgraded to 7.6 aswel.

    Consume1's Guide again:

    0. Restore ipod to 1.1.3, do not go any further than the set up new ipod screen
    1. Turn off ipod. (the right way)
    2. Enter recovery mode using the power + home button method, OR, use iphuc and type enterrecovery (iphuc can be located at : http://iphone-elite.googlecode.com/f... Windows.rar)
    3. Pull your ipod out of the dock (terminate the processes applemobile device, itunes helper)
    4. Open up the ziphone gui method and check jailbreak + activate or just jailbreak......(as long as you dont check unlock, which is why you wll get major 2, minor 0)
    5. Click on free my iphone
    6. Will tell you to connect your iphone
    7. Plug in your ipod
    8. It will start. You will notice the connect to itunes has turned a slightly different color.

    Thanks Consume1

Your guide was pretty cryptic, my guide was a bit more Clear.

And *cough* had better, readable grammar.

When you create a guide, take time to look at what you're typing.

There is no excuse for having poor grammar, unless you dont speak English at all.

Well i was rushing it so people could get it faster, its legible, i doubt anyone had a hard time reading it. In actuality, both of ours are the same, and they would work the same. So the whole grammar thing doesn't really matter.
