ok every time i turn on the screen of my ipod (i never turn it off), theres no wifi signal. if i go to an app that uses wifi, sometines it comes back on but thats like once a month....if i go to settings, it will typically come on, but sometimes i have to go to wifi and sometimes i even have to touch the network, even though it says its connecter, but has 0 signal....as soon as i touch it it goes to like 24.

this is really annoying because even though i just kinda live with it, its been getting worse and happens literally around 15-20 times a day.

my computer is on the same wifi network and it only happens like once a month at the most.....whats up with my ipod????

If your computer does it too, I'd say it's your router, not your iPod.
But, if you think it is your iPod, you may want to try updating to 3.0.
When I was on 2.2, my wifi dropped occasionally, but not since updating to 3.0.

Well see the wifi drops when you sleep your iPod because thats a apple setting. You can use a app that will keep wifi on but drains the battery extra fast. Also try upgrading to 3.0 . It would help.

I had a similar like problem, with the old 2.2.1 firmware it was likely to bail out, but when i heard 3.0 worked better i foudn that it did and now its connection is perfect and atleast 5 times better =D
