Lately ive been researching ways to get your ipod touch replaced easily(My ipod touch is kind of scratched up and dented on the edges so i wanted a new one) and they all seemed like fool-proof plans so I thought I would try one out. My mom and sister were going to this mall called the macarthur center which contains the closest apple store in location to me. They told me they were going to be there for about 4 to 5 hours which I was ok with because I figured i would get a new ipod touch and everything would be good. So i ask my friend(Pieman2 who is a member on this forum but just isnt active at all) to come with me on my journey because i didnt think i would be able to do it by myself. We are in the car on the way to this mall and i started getting excited because i was going to get a brand new ipod touch! We get there and i get some money from my mom and we run up to the apple store. As Im walking up the stairs though i started getting even more and more nervous with each step. So I approach the apple store looking frustrated(trying to be convincing) and walk up to the main counter. A woman says "Hi, welcome to the apple store! What can i help you with today? I then proceed to say " Hi I bought this ipod touch in November and ever since then the screen flashes if I leave it on for too long and when i watch videos on it then are all messed up looking so I was wondering if I could get it replaced?" The woman then says "Im sorry but in order to get it replaced you will have to make an appointment to get it shipped into customer service where they will do a system restore." After she says this im thinking in my head about what could have caused this lady to come to the conclusion that I dont know what a simple restore is. So I then walk out of the store with Pieman2 and remember that my mom and my sister are going to be here for the next 4 to 5 hours and this trip to the apple store took less than 15 minutes. So in the end Pieman2 and I sit around for 4 to 5 hours in the mall doing nothing and my whole day is ruined!
