My Touch wont UPDATE!!

    sup guys
    i been tryin to update my ipod but everytime i update my ipod
    i get this error message

    "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred"

    im tryin to update to 2.1 but i get dat message and my ipod touch goes to restore mode
    and then i restore it back to 1.1.5

    and i try it again and same thing

    can somebody please help me out???????????

    That may explain why it's not working then.

    Unless you pay for it, then it's pirated.
    And I don't know, I've not upgraded to 2.X yet... but I guess that's why.
    Just search for a tutorial, I'm sure there will be loads.

    DFU mode, then use the shift + restore method, not paying for the firmware makes no differnece, I paid for my copy of 2.1 and it did exactly the same, although that was more than likely cause my copy of 2.0 was jailbroken

    dfu then shift restore
    if ur on a mac alt restore
