    1) Quickfreedom is OLD, get with the program

Please Register or Log in to view images

    2) Download 3.1.2 ipsw for the first generation iPod Touch (don't ask where to get it, just google it)

    3) To put into DFU mode, do this exactly.
    a) Hold down power and home button for 10 seconds exactly
    b) Release the power button only and continue for 10 more seconds
    c) If you have succeeded your screen will be BLANK and it appears in iTunes as recovery mode.

    4) Now that your iPod is in DFU, hold down shift and click restore. A browser window will pop up and you need to point it to your 3.1.2 firmware (don't ask where to get firmware)

    5) Download and run blackra1n from http://www.blackra1n.com

You gotta keep with the updates brother!!!
