So we've got this super-dooper piece of kit, with a 400MHz processor, 128mb RAM, 8/16Gb storage and most importantly WiFi.

So, wouldn't be awesome if we could play straight from our Touch to the airport express and the speakers connected, the same as we can in iTunes, but from the iPod Touch.

Just think about it, iPod Touch in your pocket or on your belt steaming to your soundsystem. Don't fancy the track that's on, just reach into your pocket, choose one you like - no need for a laptop!

download a piece of software called SignalServer on your computer and install this

You can then access the ip address given and control your iTunes

Its awesome - the free version you don't get to see all your sngs but still plays them all

I know it is web based but works well

So since its web based I assume you don't have to jail break it first to get this to work?

stil not nearly as good as true AirTunes support. I have been clamoring for that since I first heard any iPod would have WiFi.

    Well yes, I'd love that!

But seeing as my Mac Mini hooked up to my Bose home theatre system holds all my music it's the next best thing.
