    Yes, anything you have running in the background uses some battery power.

    f***ing hell! 576 hours! and u only just noticed...... and yep it decrases ur battery life

    u can fake a 1000 or 5000 day timer or stopwatch ! Just start the stopwatch and than set your date to 26th of may 2009 or 2015 an your stopwatch will show you the time !
    Try it, its real FUN ;-)
