My thoughts on an Apple Netbook.

    Okay, I think it is likely.

    Why I think it is very possible:

    1: Netbook sales are rising because people want cheap computers just to get on the WWW and email.
    2: Snow Leopard: Apple says they are holding off new features and focusing on "under the hood." Maybe to make a Netbook friendly OS?
    3. Confirmation of Apple ordering 10in ~touch~ screens. Possible tablet/netbook? Bulked up iPod touch to run OS X Snow Leopard?

    Why it may not come:

    1. C'mon, Apple does not focus on bargin, so Netbook may be out of the question. But maybe something like the Sony Vaio P series, a high-end ~expensive~ netbook.

    So, I think it is possible, thoughts?

    if they release a netbook i will sure buy it ;)
    and i think i'll not be the only one so it will be a smart choice for apple to produce one

    i've wanted a laptop (something i can take with me anyways) for sometime now, especially seeing how cheap some netbooks are getting
    if apple released one, it'd be at the top of my christmas list for sure

    I dont think apple would ever make a netbook. The iphone and ipod touch could be considered apples "netbook" They do everything a netbook can and more for around the same price and fit in your pocket.

    I could see them making a touch pad. Something the size of the air with no keyboard and the same specs, that would replace the air and for around the same price.

    iphone/ipod touch can't do more than a netbook.
    You are limited in what you can do on those but not on a netbook.

    Download is probably the only thing, and Flash, big deal, netbook's are weak.
