Think about this. If Apple launched a tablet that was smaller, who would they be targeting? KIDS! I just came to this realization! Kids could use a small iPad for stuff! They don't need to lug around a 10" iPad. As far as I'm concerned it would be cheap enough, yet offer all one needs for a more mobile tablet solution. I can just imagine smaller iPads at the kid table at the Apple stores. Just think about it. It makes sense, and of they were cheap enough, they would sell really well! Apple has begun targeting the young generation these days; it's a good strategy, I think, but it has much to say about how...mesmerizing (???) Apple products are. I went to an Apple store yesterday and saw a kid using an iPad flawlessly. It was amazing. He could multitask, etc. I would buy one...I think, but I'd rather have the screen the iPad 3 has to offer. I like a little bigger. If I had less money, definitely the small iPad. Anyways, what do you think? Not if you like the idea of a 7" tablet, but that Kids could use one?
I only find the MacBook pro 17" overpriced. The rest of their prices are fair...once you do the math that is. Yes, even the price for the Mac Pro is good for what you get.
Actually, the entire Mac line up is over priced. For how much it would cost to buy 1 Mac, I could build 2 PC's with equivalent or better performance/specs.
Maybe so, but the question isn't really price, but user experience. The Mac user experience is much more...amazing than windows ever was to me. Mac is premium and you pay for it. You can't beat the value of Macs. Those two PCs you would buy, probably in a year wouldn't be worth more than $350....the Mac would only be worth maybe $100-$150 off the original price. Macs hold value much better than PC. That's why I'm goin Mac. User experience, resale value, and FAAAASSSSSSTTTTTT!
I personally like both Windows and Mac, regardless of how expensive they are; just was pointing it out.
Yeah kids could use it... As a frisbee... As it is, the 10" iPad is mostly to bug for a toddler to throw frisbee style, plus the big screen does a better job of stealing their attention. You know it's a low quality image when you can count the pixels.
