The bottom right and left corners of my iPod(not really the screen, but in line with the home button) are loose. Could I take it to apple and they give me a "2.5G"? Also, mine's a 16GB, could I pay to upgrade to the 32GB, so I can get the better specs? How much should I expect to pay?

    Thanks,

    No.
They won't give you the newer model.
They'll give you a refurbished one if it's still in warranty.

The bottom corners are loose on every 2G (including mine) and possibly on the newer model as well. So no. You can't have your cookie and eat it too.

nope, i had just sent my 16GB in for service because the left side of the screen wasn't responding to touch, and I got back a 16GB one to replace it. Looks brand new, but I'm sure its a refurbished one. But its nice to have the back of it nice and shiny with no scratches again.
