my screen has been scratched

    yup yup dont ask me how becuz i dontknow but yeah i guess the screen CAN get scratched after all

    no lie mine got scartched!!! when it gets scarthed it shows like dots in the scartch..

    Mine has been scratched on the front screen as well from simply being in my pocket (not even with keys...). The back screen isn't scratched at all though because of my Invisible Shield that I applied first thing when I got the iPod.

    As for scratches on the front, yes, it bugs the heck out of me, but you can't see the scratches when the screen is on as long as you aren't getting a glare.

    I wonder if there is some way to get the iPod sent in for warranty that would include a replacement of the screen... I have a dead pixel, but that would probably just be a replaced LCD..

    How you scratch the screen!!.
    Mine was exposed to nails, oxided knifes, metal sp├Čked wires and a... engine saw!!!. Ok... the last one never...

    people need to get the fact of hard to get it scratched != it wont get scratched

    The only way to scratch the screen is by rubbing an edge of an object harder than sapphire crystal up against it. This includes some watch faces and most gems in rings. So don't do either of the above and you'll never scratch it.

    Mine got scratched too. I believe it was from the edge of a key in my bag. It's not scratch proof. Just difficult to scratch.

    Well, if that's true, I have a defective screen. I don't carry diamonds in my pocket, yet it has scratches on it.

    where are you pulling that bs fact from?
    It's hard to scratch yes... but show me where you got that info...
