my problem

    so today i decided to upgrade my ipod so i download the new firmware and hit restore and it starts to upgrade it when it hits
    the ipod "iPod"could not be restored.An unknown error occured(6).
    and now its stuck on the screen with the usb cable going to itunes
    i have tried hold down both buttons 10 seconds then hold the bottom for 10 seconds and restoring it but that didnt work
    i upgraded itunes to the newest thing
    so what should i do?

    I have had the same problem, you have to plug in your iPod, then you have to wait for about 5 (or less) minutes, then iTunes will find your device & ask you if you want to restore it from your backup (iTunes creates a backup every time you sync). Then you can retry updating (If it doesn't work PM me).

    A note to everyone: Sync your iPod/iPhone before you update, that way you have your most recent data on your ipod/iPhone in the case that something happens like this.

    i waited 5 minutes and it didnt do anything

    Hmm, did you download the update through iTunes? Did you try restarting your PC? Is iTunes set to auto-open when you plug in your iPod? Are you plugging the iPod into the same USB port as before?
