Every developer knows the fact that you can modify the release date to the current date in 24 hours after your Apps passing Apple’s review. This make your Apps appear in the first page in App Store and increase the chance to sell your App.

I wrote a small tool - AppRelease to track my apps release status and remind me to modify the release date once my apps is ready for sale. Here is the introduction:

A useful tool for Developer to track your Apps release status. Developers can record when the Apps are submitted to App Store for reviewing and estimate when the Apps will be available for sale.

    Key features:
    - Tracking all Apps release status
    - Sorting by submitted date
    - Customize estimated review days
    - Re-sorting the app list by shaking your device

Now I would like to share the source code with ones who has interest in it(here). Thanks! Donation will be greatly appreciated!

Sounds really cool! I'd be interested in testing it out.

I would really enjoy using that if you are handing it out!

Apps such as this have been strictly disallowed, per your SDK agreements. It was never destined to get accepted.

Also, changing the release date to "front page" your application stopped working a long time ago, as too many people were taking advantage of that.

Well I guess if it's no longer possible for it to be done, there is no point in this application.

It ("front page") still works...as of 3 weeks ago at least. Maybe not since then.

Received "Ready for Sale" email from Apple at 6pm.
Changed release date for my app in itunes connect to that present day by 8pm.
Looked about 2 hrs later and my app was no.6 in my category under "release" tab.

Before that my app was about 20 pages down....lol!! (luckily tho it was in "top paid" as well so it wasn't that bad)

Either way...this app is just an ESTIMATE, right? It doesn't actually connect to itunes connect and know at the exact moment app is "ready for sale", correct?

If so, then this is really for someone that has maybe 10 apps being constantly updated, no?
I know I, being a small time developer with only 1 app being updated at any one time, constantly am checking for that "Ready for Sale" email anyway because you're anxious to see how it does...lol!!

    Nice idea, tho...

yes bones, it just estmates the review days and doesn't connect to itunes conncet. I think it is useful for developers who have many apps to update

I'd love to have this though, mind putting it on Cydia?

Ah, $5 to look at the source code. Still a good app, though!

    Thanks retro.
Since this app has been rejected by Apple, I am thinking about scraping website for more accurate data. But I do not have much experience about this. Any suggestions, friends?
