Try checking the router to see if it is coming unplugged.

Do you turn the microwave or if you have wireless phones (as in house phones) on?

that wont cause a problem unless the signal was right next to the microwave. We had wireless phones for over 8-9 years now, and wireless internet for about five and we had no problems whats so ever.

I would update your drivers on your laptop. If you can go to the manufacturer of the wifi card it self, and not the manufacturer of the computer, as most of the time they will have outdated drivers.

Maybe a loose connection to the wifi card.
