    First at all, Hi guys.
I thought I should post my problem on that forum since you looked quite nice and you maybe could help me... (By the way, I'm french, so, sorry for my bad english)

Ok here is the thing :
My iPhone (3G, 2.2 firmware, jailbroken) doesn't vibrate anymore in the games or app that can have this feature (like the cydia "massage" application) BUT still vibrates when in silent mode, or in the parameters menu. So it's clearly not a mechanical problem.
Anyone here got this problem before?
    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

thats a bug that i have experienced before (Shazam, Facebook). im not sure why, but its something to do with a Cydia package.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. So... you could fix that by removing some cydia packages?

it should work again after you remove that certain package. make sure to reboot your phone so the changes have been made.

Weird, after removing some packages, the vibrator doesn't work at all, now...
Edit : don't have any sound from the lock screen neither

Might want to do a restore and start over with a "clean" iPhone.

    Anyway, it works, now.
Any chance to know what cydia package did all that crap?

Hard to say which one is the guilty app.

Only way I know to check is to install one app at a time and check the vibrator.
