Yesterday I was modding N.O.V.A (Great game) with ifile and then I screwed up. I stupidly overeacted and deleted nova i couldn't reinstall it so i restored it, during restore it screwed up and then i restored again, this time with no hitch, then i jailbroke it soonly afterward, and it screwed up again. i repeated the restore/re-jailbrake again, sucsessfully, then, when installing the cydia upgrade some 5 minuets later it randomely rebooted and after showing the apple logo for20 seconds it goes black. Any time i try to turn it on it just loads and turns black. Pluging it in to anything it boots, then dies. DFU mode does not work, it just boots and dies. my ipod was a 1g that was jailbroke at 3.1.2. Im pretty sure it was a brick.

    1. Make sure it's charged.
    2. Try DFU again with a shift restore.
    3. Try recovery mode (when it's off hold the home button while plugging it in).

Try another computer and other USB ports on your computer.

Everythibg can be fixed as long as it isnt a hardware problem, wich mean: it isnt Bricked.

The NAND could be corrupt and that's a ipt so it's old and can't be fixed.

You welcome. And NAND is your memory that stores everything, if it broke you wouldn't even be able to restore. The bootroom must have just been corrupt or something.
