My Ipod wont charge

    i bought a philips usb charger and connected it to my usb to try and charge and it wont work any idea it wont work on my laptop either and its only new

    nope nothing only thing that comes up is the charge screen but no movement of the bar

    How long did you wait? The battery image won't fill up right away - it needs time to charge.

    And is it a 1st or 2nd-generation iPod touch because some wall chargers don't work with the 2nd gen oddly.

    My iPod mini charger didn't work so I had to use my xbox to charge. Just get your 30pin to USB cable and plug the USB bit into any console/appliance (I just used my printer) and see if it charges. If not it's probably busted?

    mine was doing the same thing, like i would plug it in and it would say charging but if i would use it it would go lower and lower so i unplugged it and blew in the socket on the bottom *lol* and it worked after that!
