I jailbroke my ipod and it was working fine, and then I installed winterboard so I had to reboot. Then I put it in DFU mode and started doing the irecovery commands. But usually after I type "go" the apple logo comes up and it starts booting. But it just flashes black and goes back to the white screen.

    What should I do?

DFU, and try again. I hate n00bs trying to do this. Or use an automatic booter. Not hard at all.

I'm not a dumbass, I've tried doing that like 5 times already. My iPod not booting doesn't make me a noob.

Ok, so DFU doesn't work, right? Well, then try to use a booter, and see if that helps. Does the computer recognize the iPod?

I've tried a couple booters too. One says irecovery command isn't recognized, and another says click ok if your screen is white at one step, and it isn't. :/

Could I just go into itunes and restore to the normal 2.2.1 firmware and start over?
