Out of nowhere, without a heads-up notice, my iPod screen turned completely White!
The screen still functions perfectly, but i only see white :|
I've tried restoring it, hard-rebooting it... whatnot.

I haven't messed with anything that might "brick" it, just ordinary use... havent dropped it even a single time. mint condition. got it 2 weeks ago actually...

Did anyone encounter the same problem? if there's no solution i'll go replace my iPod cuz it's still under warranty...

Oh one more thing... i've noticed the bottom left of the iPod heats up over a short period of time.
maybe this is the cause of the problem?

    Take a look at this:

I'm pretty sure that's a 1g iPod, but my 2g is exactly in the same condition.
And i've tried all the methods on YouTube, didn't work out for me...

eek. Sounds bad. I'd email Apple about this. I think you might have to send it in.

DFU restore may work, try that...

Have the iPod in restore mode (There should be a link in my signature)
While in restore mode, hold the home button for 5 seconds...

Without letting going of the home button hold onto the power button for 10 seconds.(It should turn off)

After the ten seconds, let go of the power button, without letting the home button go... then hold the home button for a good 30 seconds, and your computer should read the iPod as in restore mode...

iTunes should pop up, and ask you to restore.
